Research degree supervision

I welcome enquiries about supervising research degree (i.e. PhD) projects within my broad areas of research interest. These include crowd behaviour, mass gatherings, live music events, crowd safety management, mass emergencies, riots, social movements and collective action. I work with the social identity approach.

I currently supervise the following PhD students: David Clarke, Rajaa Barbary and Becky Davies. I co-supervise Yara Zebian, Julia Schreiber, and Samreen Chhabra.
