BIO

I am an ESRC-funded doctoral researcher in Linguistics at the University of Sussex, supported by the South East Doctoral Training Arc (SEDarc). My research explores language and assessment in GCSE examinations, with a particular focus on how assessment can remain valid, equitable and meaningful in the context of artificial intelligence. I previously completed an MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL at Sussex and have experience in secondary language teaching and communications.
