BIO
Tabea completed her BSc and MSc in Technical Biology at the University of Stuttgart, where she focused on tumour biology and computational approaches, culminating in a systems biology thesis on ODE modelling of apoptosis. During her PhD in Cancer Epigenetics at the University of Stuttgart, she combined experimental techniques with large-scale data analysis to study epigenetic plasticity in cellular stress responses.
She joined the Brighton and Sussex Medical School in 2026 as a Research Fellow in Laboratory and Computational Systems Biology in Cancer Research. In this role she will be applying computational, data-driven and experimental approaches to advance lymphoma research by exploring ways to better guide treatment decisions and understand patient responses.
