BIO

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the Leverhulme-funded project Technology and the (Future) Human in War, led by Dr Lindsay C. Clark.

My research is interdisciplinary, exploring how technological evolution shapes the organisation of societies in contexts of peace and conflict. I completed my PhD in Political and Social Thought, specialising in the critical philosophy of technology and process philosophy. Following my PhD, I worked on the ESRC-funded project Securing Global Britain: Building and Sustaining Plurilateral Practices of Security Cooperation in Europe, led by Professor Richard G. Whitman.

My publications include the monograph Organic Materialism and Philosophy of Technology: On the Speculative Relationship between Thought and Matter (Palgrave Macmillan, 2026) and, with Richard G. Whitman, the forthcoming book The UK and the War in Ukraine: Status-Seeking in the European Security Order (Routledge). I have also written political analysis for UK in a Changing Europe.

I am affiliated with the Centre for Critical Thought and a Visiting Academic at the University of Kent, and am a member of the Process Ecologies Network.
