Reza is a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at Sussex AI, supervised by Prof. James Knight and Prof. Thomas Nowotny, where he works on POSIT-enabled EventProp training and the implementation of Spiking Neural Networks on a programmable RISC-V FPGA SoC. He received an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Shahrood University of Technology. His current research focuses on hardware-efficient deep learning, combining neuromorphic computing, low-precision arithmetic, and reconfigurable hardware design.
