Following his graduation from the University of Birmingham with a PhD in Engineering, Archie’s career has spanned R&D and innovation in the private sector, collaboration with higher education, knowledge exchange between universities and industry, and the facilitation of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs). Over this time, he has accumulated extensive experience in connecting academics with industry and creating meaningful collaboration opportunities. His work has included national and international partnerships across England and Wales, as well as with overseas businesses.

Archie holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, an MSc in Applied Mechanics, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He is an Associate of the Higher Education Academy in the UK and serves as an honorary member of staff at the University of Birmingham.
