I joined the University of Sussex in September 2024. Before that I was a post-doc with Sam Staton at the University of Oxford, and with Ohad Kammar at the University of Edinburgh. I completed my PhD with Marcelo Fiore at the University of Cambridge. I am interested in the semantics of effectful programming languages, category theory, and categorical universal algebra, often in combination. My personal webpage is philipsaville.co.uk.
