BIO

Elisabeth Koch is a doctoral researcher on the Sussex Neuroscience 4-Year PhD Programme. She holds an MSc in Psychology from the University of Lübeck and completed Erasmus-funded exchange semesters at the Universities of Bologna and Bergamo in Italy, the University of Barcelona in Spain and the University of Exeter in the UK. Following her master's degree, she was a visiting researcher at the Empathy Building Neuro-Lab at Aalto University in Finland, funded by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung).

During her master's and PhD studies, Elisabeth was employed as a research assistant for Dr Giulia Poerio at the University of Sussex and for Prof Ulrike Krämer in the Cognitive Neuroscience Group at the University of Lübeck in Germany.
