I have completed 'Fundamentals of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (Module 1)' with assessment. This award is recognised as equivalent to Associate Fellowship of Advance HE (AFHEA). After that, I have chosen to advance my teaching career at UKEC (United Kingdom Education Centre), the UK’s largest educational institution specialising in Chinese international education. On one hand, I wish to demonstrate that a meaningful academic career need not be confined to the conventional pathway within public universities. On the other, I am eager to pass on the knowledge, skills, and insights imparted to me by Sussex, our faculty, and my deeply supportive supervisors to a wider student body. 

My primary commitment is to support East Asian students who, despite coming from educational environments where rigorous training in critical thinking and academic English may be less accessible, aspire to pursue PhDs in the United Kingdom. Prioritising the ethos of inclusivity that Sussex instilled in me, I aim to put this philosophy into practice first-hand. Consequently, legal academic English education, specifically addressing the pedagogical and linguistic challenges faced by East Asian students, has become the next focal point of my research.
