BIO
I joined Sussex as Director of HR in March 2023., having moved here from the University of Plymouth where I was HR Director for eight years.
Before moving to the Higher Education sector I worked for eight years in KPMG, most recently as Head of HR. Prior to that I worked in Royal Mail for sixteen years, gaining experience across all aspects of HR.
I am a values based leader who believes in working in partnership with colleagues and trades unions to build outcomes that support our students, staff and wider community.
I have leadership experience in staff engagement, culture change, reward, performance development, employee relations, equality, diversity and inclusion, and health, safety and wellbeing.
I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and have a BA (Hons) in Behaviour in Organisations from Lancaster University.
