I am a Research Impact Manager based within the Research, Information, Quality & Impact team. As part of this role, I act as one of Sussex's subject matter experts in research impact and work across the university to promote good knowledge of the significance and nature of research impact. Alongside colleagues in the RIQI team, I co-ordinate and contribute to the development of impact case studies for future REFs and develop & deliver training on the significance and nature of research impact.

Before coming to Sussex, I was a postdoctoral researcher on the Wellcome-funded 'Pathologies of Solitude' project at Queen Mary University of London. I completed my PhD in English Literature at King's College London in 2018, and have also been an associate lecturer at Goldsmiths.

Alongside my role, I continue to be an active researcher and writer with an interest in the intersections between poetry, medicine and the emotions.
