BIO

Johanna Senk studied Physics with a focus on Solid-State Physics and Computational Physics at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and the University of Trieste, Italy. She performed the research for her PhD and Postdoc in the interdisciplinary field of Computational Neuroscience at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. After an academic visit at the University of Sussex as Associate Research Fellow during her Postdoc phase, she has joined the School of Engineering & Informatics as Assistant Professor in Computer Science. She is also Team Leader (Future Simulation Architectures) at Forschungszentrum Jülich.

We develop and simulate computational models to study the structure, dynamics, and function of neuronal networks.
