BIO
I joined the University of Sussex in November 2022 as Research & Open Scholarship Librarian and my focus is the design and delivery of Library services to support research and open scholarship; aiming to embed the principles of Open Research and Scholarship in practice, and culture across the University.
My role includes responsibility for:
advocacy, training and support for Elements
the development and delivery of a programme of research skills training for postgraduate esearchers and research staff
managing the Sussex Research Hive and the Hive Scholars
I have previously worked at the University of Brighton as an Information Adviser where I was responsible for ensuring library services met the teaching and research needs of the staff and students based on the Moulsecoomb campus. This role included library collection management and development, support for the Talis Aspire reading list platform and I designed and oversaw the delivery of a programme of library research skills training for UG and PG students.
