I am an economist by training with a BA from University of Ottawa and a PhD in regulatory economics from McGill University in Montreal (1992). In addition to being a Professor of Business and Government in the Department of Management, I am currently the School's Associate Dean Faculty and Resources (since September 2020). I was also Director of the PhD Programme and Head of the Accounting, Finance and Economics Group at the School of Management, Royal Holloway, University of London (1993-2011). I then joined the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa (2011-2020) and was its Director from 2012-2016. I have varied teaching and research interests in public policy as it pertains to the business sector, and published widely in this area.
