Dr Kevin Martin is a clinical academic in genitourinary medicine. His primary research interests are in curable sexually transmitted infections, diagnostic strategies, implementation science, mixed methods research, and global health.

Following an NIHR academic clinical fellowship, he completed a Wellcome Trust clinical PhD fellowship, focussed on the integration of aetiological approaches to sexually transmitted infection management into antenatal care services in Zimbabwe, including the evaluation of novel diagnostics.

He is currently an NIHR academic clinical lecturer in genitourinary medicine at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, where his work continues to focus on screening for sexually transmitted infections across different settings and populations.
