I am a Senior Research Ethics and Integrity Officer in the Research Ethics, Integrity, and Governance team here at Sussex. I manage four committees, two of which are government regulated:  

• Animal Welfare and Ethical Review Body (AWERB)
• Health and Safety Care Sponsorship Sub-Committee (SSC)  
• Research Ethics and Integrity Sub-Committee 
• Research Governance and Quality Assurance Committee  

I also work on projects that fall under Research Integrity and Research Culture, e.g., mandatory training and workshops for Research Ethics and Integrity.  

Before joining the REIG team, I worked as a Graduate Associate in Research Development and Initiatives. As part of my role, I helped coordinate internal review panels for external funding calls and supported the University Research and Innovation Committee (URIC). In addition, I worked on several projects intended to enhance our Research Culture, including the Summer of Research 2023.  

I completed both my undergraduate degree (Drama and English Literature, 2018-2021) and my master's degree (English Literature, Culture, and Theory, 2023-2024) at the University.  

Whilst completing my master’s degree, I worked part-time for the Director of Research and Innovation to manage the external review of the Science and Engineering schools in December 2023.
