Before joining the School of Media, Film and Music at Sussex in autumn 2014, Lawrence Webb was Assistant Professor in Film Studies at the Department of Cultural Sciences, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He has also taught film studies at King's College London and Royal Holloway, University of London and been a visiting scholar at Columbia University, New York City.
