I teach public law, and particularly like teaching the judicial review and routes to accountability part of the module.

I teach immigration and asylum law, which is a final year optional module, and co-supervise the Sussex Migration Law Clinic, where we offer advice to members of the public (term time only). I love teaching and supervision on the clinic module, and building collaboration with other advice organisations and support organisations around Brighton and Hove.

I am teaching on the new Law, Public Policy and Justice optional module for second year students, and am really excited about sharing my enthusiasm for policy work and trying to use research to influence public policy.

I regularly supervise undergraduate and MA dissertations on issues related to immigration and asylum, administrative law, legal aid and access to justice.

My office hours for the autumn term 2025-26 are Wednesdays 4-5 and Fridays 2-3pm. Please email in advance to make an appointment.
