I work as a Lecturer in the English Language for Academic Study (ELAS) team in the Department of Language Studies. We support students with English as an additional language to develop their understanding of academic language, skills and culture here at Sussex. I am the Media, Arts and Humanities (MAH) Cluster lead for ELAS, meaning that I work to develop collaborations and resources to support students in these subject areas.

I have previously worked as a Lecturer in English Language in the same department, for which my work included being a convenor for Summer Pre-sessional courses, convening and teaching on Academic Development for Psychology (Foundation Year), teaching on Business Communication Skills (MSc) and Intercultural Communication in the Workplace (MSc).

I have worked previously as an English Language Teacher in South America, Spain and the UK and as a Trinity Examiner in Spain and Italy.
