BIO

I hold a Masters in Modern Languages in French and Italian from the University of Manchester, and a Masters in Management from the University of Durham. In 2013 I completed a PhD in Film and Television Studies from the University of Warwick, where I investigated the construction of gender and class in the Hollywood Teen Movie.

I joined the University of Sussex as a Lecturer in Film Studies in 2017. Peviously, I was the the convenor of the Writing Lab at University College London, and Assistant Professor at Syracuse University, London, where I led a course of my own design on James Bond and Sherlock Holmes adaptations.
