I am an applied mathematician with expertise in numerical analysis, mathematical biology, and scientific computing. I am interested in modeling biological phenomena using PDEs, with a particular focus on problems arising from cell biology.  I am interested in the design, implementation, and analysis of numerical methods for approximating PDEs, particularly finite element methods and their applications to PDEs on complex, evolving geometries. A large proportion of the projects I work on are interdisciplinary, involving collaborations with biologists and biophysicists. I have long-standing interests in knowledge transfer and have worked with several non-academic partners, ranging from biotech companies to local authorities and the NHS.
