I was born in Paris but grew up in Brittany. I joined the University of Sussex in 2005 and am a Fellow of higher education. I work as an Assistant Professor  in French at the School of Media, Arts and Humanities (MAH) at the Department of Language Studies (SCLS), where I teach and convene some French languages and content courses on the Language Elective pathways. My other roles are : MAH Year Abroad Convenor, COIL Facilitator, Language Student Mentoring Scheme Supervisor (up to now), and Student Welfare Advocate / Academic Advisor (ended in September 2025)

I hold a:

- MA in French language diversity, Interculturality, language policies (University of Tours)
- Post graduate certificate in teaching in higher education (University of Sussex)
- Maitrise in occupational psychology (University of Nantes and CNAM)
