BIO

I am Professor in Technology and Society at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), where I have worked since 1997. Please click on 'Research' for more information.

I am also a Visiting Researcher at the Centro de Innovación en Tecnología para el Desarrollo Humano at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

My first degree was in Mechanical Engineering (Bristol). I have a Masters degree in Environmental Technology (Imperial College, London), and a DPhil in Science & Technology Policy Studies (Sussex). I also have an Advanced Diploma in Spanish (Brighton).
