I am currently teaching 'Thinking Literature I' and 'Inner Worlds', 'Staging the Renaissance: Shakespeare', 'Living and Dying in the Premodern World' and 'Values and Believing.' in 2023. I have 7 Ph. D. Students at various stages working on Shakespeare, acting and rhetoric; Shakespeare and war; Evil in Literature; Queens and council in sixteenth-century France; rhetoric and disease in early modern English culture; Edmund Spenser and bodily fluids; and notions of revenge in literature, all supervised with other colleagues in English, History and Philosophy.
