I am a co-editor for Bristol University Press’ Business and International Development series. I am a member of the International Advisory Committee for Copenhagen University’s Centre for Business and Development Studies and Co-director of the new Sussex centre of excellence for international development and business. I have worked as an advisor to Action Aid on gender, labour and industrial policy, providing expertise to the 

International Trade Union Congress (IUTC) and EU on how job creation for women workers and entrepreneurs in emerging economies; as well as other non-governmental organisations including the African Institute for Corporate Citizenship and Business in the Community.
